I've always described my taste in fashion and music as being very eclectic and uniquely based off my feelings that day. Music and fashion both serve as the ultimate forms of self expression, and there is no denying the influence music has on personal style.
This past Monday, Original Penguin and NYLON Guys graciously extended an invitation to see Tanlines perform at the EchoPlex. In honor of Penguin’s 60th anniversary they outfitted me for the evening. Surprisingly, my father was most impressed by this gesture. Penguin had been a closet staple for his father and he was blown away that several generations later, his 25 year old son was wearing full look.
Needless to say, the evening was one for the books. The energy at the EchoPlex was magnetic and nothing beats a live show in your hometown. If you’ve been living under a rock with no wifi connection, I highly encourage you to google Tanlines and give them a listen!
