I spent most of last week in New York catching the tail end of fashion week. It is astonishing how quickly the city envelops your entire being, you almost forget there is a world outside the endless pavement and skyscrapers.
In the progressive spirit of New York City, I decided to ditch my bulky DSLR and shoot exclusively on the Samsung NX30 and NX300. With so many globally recognized icons like the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building, the “big apple” is one of the most photographed places in the world.
Both bodies shoot insane quality without the technical headache of a DSLR and have a wifi feature that sends images directly to your phone. I was able to upload high res images on instagram during fashion week in real time--can you say hashtag game changer?
Photos of myself were shot on the Samsung Nx300. All others shot on the NX30
