I'm not one to get super personal on my blog, but there's something I want to talk to you guys about.
I took a month long break from the internet in January because I was in a legitimate creative rut. At the same time, I felt really ungrateful because the interweb has given me such a beautiful life and connected me with some of the most talented and inspiring people.
At the same time, my blog might become obsolete one day and the instagram bubble will burst. When that happens, will I have anything to offer anymore?
I took my first trip to London a few weeks ago (so weird right, like why haven't I been before?) and met so many amazing new people IRL. I had some really meaningful conversations (cc: Kara Elise) with people I really didn't know. I truly listened and put myself out there in a way I hadn't before.
Long story short, London taught me to talk to all the strangers, do things that make you so uncomfortable you could throw up and wear your heart on your sleeve, because being genuinely open to life is the best thing you can offer yourself and everyone around you.
